By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/04/2007 7:21 PM

check back soon for full instructions on entering this giveaway smocklady mother of 6 (i'm in the middle of editing the giveaway post for tomorrow + i was just seeing how it looked so far).

My favorite print is Kate. It is divine! As far as wearing my baby, there are so many favorites. I love feeling her right next to me and that she's calm and relaxed when being worn. Babywearing saved my bacon during wild and woolly reflux days. Attachment parenting has so many advantages. I think I learned how to take care of my daughter more effectively through by employing this parenting method. I am clumsily feeling my way through motherhood, and AP helps me anticipate my daughter's needs and nurture a natural and loving relationship.

By Blogger heather h, at 11/04/2007 11:46 PM

I love wearing my babies close to me. Not only did it simply feel wonderful, it was completely practical too. Especially on crowded metros. That said, walks with a sling in the forest are wonderful too. With my son we didn't have a good system and that's a big regret for me. I love these slings and I hope that I get to use one with my next baby! Baby wearing and attachment parenting go hand in hand. Responding to your baby, respecting your baby, working as a team figuring out the whole world together.

I love the Florence print.

My favorite bit was probably the combination of handsfree and snuggling! All the prints are pretty but I think I like Kate the best.

My favorite print is the "Kate." I'll have to be honest, but I've never owned a sling or tried "baby wearing" before. I would love to try it with our next one. Count me in!

By Blogger Brit, at 11/05/2007 5:42 AM

I love wearing my baby because she's so close to me and feels safe. She doesn't beg to get down and I can teach her things from my eye level. Oh, and I like all the prints, but I think "Kate" is my favorite, followed closely by "Dianna".

By Blogger jenna, at 11/05/2007 5:59 AM

These are so wonderful! I love the Heather sling the best and my favorite part about babywearing is that I can have my precious baby close and still get lots of work done! :)

By Blogger Andrea, at 11/05/2007 6:04 AM

I love the Paige print. As for what I like about babywearing, it's got to be the closeness and calmness of baby and the hands-free aspect, hands down! I love attachment parenting because it allows me to feel really connected to my baby.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/05/2007 6:33 AM

I look forward to having a sling with baby, since dragging a stroller up and down subway steps is not going to work so well! I really want to explore little kid-friendly pieces of the city with my baby snuggling safely close to me.

I like the Chloe print - goes with the other orange baby things that I'm gathering to show off my Dutch heritage. :-)

I like the Kate or Paige prints. I've been slinging my baby since she was born 6 months ago. We live in our slings. Can't wait to give this one a try.

Of course I love having my baby close, but I like having my hands free just as much if not more sometimes! My daughter and I both benefited from our sling when she was tiny and I plan to use one again on the next little guy. I love the Heather print, though they are all lovely.

I love the florence. Baby wearing is so practical when you have three kids.

By Blogger Kim, at 11/05/2007 6:49 AM

Oh, let me tell you all the ways I love Babywearing! I have a whole blog with it in the title! : ) I love the way that it keeps baby close and gives you two hands!

I love the Chloe style, but they all are just beautiful!

I love the Paige or Chloe print! I love wearing my baby. She feels my heart beat, feels safe and secure...is used to being with me at all times. I love that I can keep a few germs away from her, because people are less likely to touch her when she is on me. Practical side, I love having my hands more free and can get things done easier.

Thanks for this great contest! I would be estatic to win!!

I like that babywearing keeps the kid happy and my hands (relatively) free so I can get things done or hold the older kids' hands.

Favorite sling print: Florence

I love wearing my son - it's convenient, hassle-free and, most importantly, it's warm & snuggly! I've been using a front carrier, but would love to try a sling like this. I like the bright colors of the Florence print.

I love how babywearing keeps your baby close. I love that when you need to get things done and your baby wants to be held, you can finish your tasks. There are so many wonderful things about babywearing. I wish I had discovered it a few years ago.

My favorite slings are the Paige and the Florence

By Blogger lace, at 11/05/2007 8:20 AM

I love the hands-free baby wearing for convenience and cuddling... I would like to try Puj because Jasper seems to despise all of his sister's old slings thus far. And because he's getting heavy. And because they are gorgeous! My favorite print is Dianna.

By Blogger Superdumb Supervillain, at 11/05/2007 8:21 AM

With 2 older kids, I would love to be able to wear my youngest more in order to keep my hands free. She also doesn't like riding in carts at the store, so being able to wear her would help my shopping experiences immensely! My favorite fabric is Dianna - please enter me! :)

By Blogger Deb, at 11/05/2007 8:35 AM

I'd love to use the "Florence" sling with my little twins. It's really hard to manage multiples, and having a free set of hands were be terrific. It looks like a wonderful back saver as well, and the baby can't dump out of the top (hopefully) when you bend over to tend to the other twin. I saw a woman wearing one of these in a shop last week, and I was GREEN with envy! Thanks for the contest,
Debra from Houston

By Blogger debra, at 11/05/2007 8:51 AM

My favourite print is Florence. With my first child, I used a front carrier, which he really really liked, but it was painful for me after he hit a certain weight. And the worst part was that I couldn't nurse in it. I would love to have a sling so that I can wear my next baby to comfort him/her and to be able to nurse while wearing him/her.

I am totally in the market for a new sling. I simply can't decide between Florence and Diana. They're beautiful.

Favorite AP moment: every morning when she wakes up, reaches out and touches my face.

While big on AP, I'm a newcomer to sling-wearing but took to it BIG time after the birth of my 3rd daughter. I've been slingwearing this baby since two days old and I went by subway to her pediatrician appointment. I am so mobile! I can take my girls with me anywhere and do just about anything!

Favorite sling moment: Everytime it's just her little head peeking out with her whole body tucked in. Sometimes I love to lift and hug her while she's in the sling.

By Blogger Brooke, at 11/05/2007 9:04 AM

I love orange so Florence appeals to me the most. We adopted our daughter so babywearing was a must for us in building attachment. It also was so much easier than hauling a stroller around the rugged sidewalks of central Taiwan where we stayed. My favorite is when she falls asleep against my chest in it. Babywearing is nice while grocery shopping as she does not tolerate sitting in the cart for long.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/05/2007 9:14 AM

Florence is great as colors and pattern.

Why wear a baby? Because I have "worn" him for 9 months already, and the best way to keep that connection is to continue the physical touch as long as possible. Good for the baby, good for the mom!

By Blogger Unknown, at 11/05/2007 9:36 AM

I love the "kate" print. I currently do not have a sling but we have always wanted one. I love having my baby close and we would use one daily if we had one especially when I was out working in the yard or working as currently its almost impossible for me to do those things.

By Blogger Angela, at 11/05/2007 10:00 AM

I'd say my favorite is the Heather print. I love cosleeping with my 11 month old. It's easy for breastfeeding her and it's so nice to know that she is near me. During the day she is so active that I hardly get to cuddle with her. During the night she is so sleepy and limp that it reminds me of when she was a newborn and I can cuddle with her all that I want!

By Blogger paulp, at 11/05/2007 10:01 AM

I think I like the Florence best, but they're all beautiful. Because she was colicky I "wore" my first daughter so much my back got sore. With another one on the way I need to make sure I get a sling that won't cause me more back pain. Not that I'm expecting this one to be colicky!

By Blogger Chicky Chicky Baby, at 11/05/2007 10:34 AM

My favorite is Kate and I would say that I love babywearing and attachment parenting because it really does make your child feel more secure and therefore more confident. Plus babywearing is great because you can bring baby anywhere!

By Blogger Candace April, at 11/05/2007 10:35 AM

I have used a sling with both of my children and love the convenience of not having to use a heavy stroller for quick trips to the store. I like the Kate print the best.

By Blogger Becky, at 11/05/2007 11:06 AM

The Kate print is my favorite!!

It's so very nice to be hands-free while wearing my littlest guy... With five others to tend to (all seven and under), babywearing is absolutely key, especially since he really only ever wants just to be held. Besides the practicality of it, I really just love having Baby close to snuggle!!

(I linked to your giveaway today. I hope that's okay!)

By Blogger Christine, at 11/05/2007 11:11 AM

Babywearing is so helpful for the first few months, esp. helping you around the house and giving you your hands back for dealing with older siblings. It's awesome!

I love the Kate print - it's gorgeous!

By Blogger kevnjacks, at 11/05/2007 11:57 AM

florence
i'd like my daughter to use this with her baby girl due soon so her hands will be free + she can nurse with it.
ap is important for mother + baby bonding + sensitivity to each other's needs.

I love that when I am wearing my baby she isn't crying! That is a good thing for ALL of us. And I think my favorite print is "Heather" but they are all beautiful!

By Blogger Katie, at 11/05/2007 12:31 PM

Paige is my favorite. As an adoptive parent attachment parenting is essential and babywearing is the only way to travel internationally...especially through airports when things are scary. Once home it can be the best way to attachment parent and bond to the new child.

By Blogger Pickel, at 11/05/2007 12:36 PM

As a soon-to-be mom, I can hardly wait to sling my little one across my chest and take her on a stylish tour of Manhattan by foot. Without a doubt, "attachment parenting" is the best way to get around in the city, where stairs, curbs, and zipping cars and people surround you. It's the best way to feel safe and close and protective of your baby. Ideally, I'd create a "sling" wardrobe to compliment many moods and seasons, but I know practically that's not possible. So, a lovely Puj sling in Florence or Chloe would suit me just fine!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/05/2007 2:03 PM

I love wearing Bri while I walk on the eliptical machine at the gym. She falls asleep and I feel healthy and re-energized :o) I like the patterns you've shown. I'd be happy with any of them.

http://citystreams.blogspot.com

By Blogger CityStreams, at 11/05/2007 3:21 PM

I love all the prints, but I think Dianna is my favorite. I love wearing my baby because it gives us both exactly what we want; I can have my hands free and she can be close and cuddled by Mommy. I also love sharing the discovery of my sling and wrap with other new moms... I feel like babywearing is a big secret that's too great not to share, and I can't believe everyone isn't doing it!

By Blogger MH, at 11/05/2007 4:00 PM

Our favorite print is the Florence, not too flowery for me. The greatest thing about baby wearing is that I could be be super close with our son (and soon, son to be). And to have my hands free to read or play with our other son will be GREAT!

My husband and I have practiced attachment parenting and baby wearing since our 1 year old daughter was born. We, and she, love being close and having her involved in what we're doing. However, my husband prefers to use the bulky, click-happy type of baby carriers. I've always used the same because it was too expensive to buy a second sling. This would be a great chance simplify (and beautify) the baby wearing experience.

I love the "Kate" print - it would complement our eyes nicely ;-).

Baby wearing is important to our family. As an adoptive mom to 2 little ones from China, we have seen huge strides in attachment and bonding simply because I don't use a stroller, I carry my babies all the time. We have just returned home 6 months ago with our little one, and she has many medical hurdles. I plan to wear her as much as possible after the surgeries to re-enforce the bonds we have started. I have been known to carry my 3 yr old on my back, and my 19 mo old on my front at the same time!!!
I love the Katie and the Florence, but would be thrilled to win any of them- they are gorgeous.

By Blogger Cristy, at 11/05/2007 6:00 PM

I love them all, its too hard to choose a favourite but I would have to go with the Heather print!

I loved wearing my first daughter everywhere we went, I felt so close to her! I can't wait to do it with my soon to be second! This giveaway would be perfect!

Attachment parenting (in my opinion) is the best way to give your child security! This will help her/him in the future for being able to build trusting relationships.

The prints and patterns are all beautiful. I think I'd pick 'Kate' as my favorite.
I have a beautiful 5 month old baby girl and this would be perfect for us! She seems happiest when she's with me, and that makes me happy!

I also have 2.5year old twin boys and have yet to find a practical stroller for all 3. My daughter in a sling is the best idea!

I am in the process of adopting a baby girl from Vietnam. By the time I get her, she will likely be 6 or 7 months old so we'll have a lot of catching up to do. Baby wearing is the best way for us to form an attachment to one another. Also, since I'll be a single parent, it will be important for me to be able to care for her and have my hands free at times. Forming a strong attachment is vital to helping my daughter grow up to be a secure and confident child.

I love the Kate print.

Thanks for the chance to win.

By Blogger baileygp, at 11/05/2007 8:30 PM

I think that wearing my son lots and lots really helped him attach to me after we brought him home from Guatemala. There's nothing that soothes him like being worn. I am a sling ADDICT and am always looking for nice looking ones - the florence print is beautiful!

Heh- Every baby is different-something I'm definitely learning to respect as a new mommy. I was so excited to wear my baby, but for the first while, my little guy hated everything I put him in... But I stuck to it, and now he loves it and wants to be up with me wherever we go! :) And its the only way, other than nursing, that he'll nap! The Dianna print is my fave of these lovely slings.

My favorite is the Kate. My favorite bonding moment with my son was the day that we became a family of 3 in South Korea. Once he realized that his whole world had changed- he became very sad and hard to console. As everyone else was asleep, I placed him in our sling and walked the hotel corridors with him in our pajamas. After 10 minutes of walking he settled down and cuddled next to me. What a great feeling- that first cuddle and eye contact established us as mother and son.

By Blogger Unknown, at 11/05/2007 9:13 PM

My favorite is the Heather. I love wearing my son because it means that we can be close and form an even bigger bond. He loves to cuddle and listen to my breathing. It also give me free hands to assist my 4 year old without putting down the baby if it isn't an option.

By Blogger Beth @ TheAngelForever, at 11/06/2007 5:11 AM

With twins I didn't wear them in slings very much because one always got the shaft. Now that I am due in march I would love to get a great sling and wear my baby all the time and have my hands free for my four year old twins.
I love the fabric Paige.

By Blogger Tuesday Girl, at 11/06/2007 6:01 AM

I like the Paige print or the Kate one. I love babywearing because it allows me to hold my little one while getting other things done. She is my 4th and it is harder to find the time to do all the things that need to be done. Babywearing allows me to be close to her while grocery shopping, doing chores, or just walking outside.

By Blogger Donna, at 11/06/2007 6:06 AM

I like the Paige print the best.

I have had so many great babywearing moments- the Ergo saved me when my son had reflux and wouldn't nurse laying down. My silk ring sling was a lifesaver at my cousins fancy wedding. But my favorite moment was wearing my son (then 6 months) in a Mei Tai while I was singing in front of a crowd at a friends' memorial service. He had just fallen asleep and I knew I couldn't transfer him out to anyone else, so he continued to sleep while I sang a goodbye song to a dear friend who had unexpectedly passed on. Thank goodness for comfortable carriers!

By Blogger Panjo Kids, at 11/06/2007 6:37 AM

I love the Kate print. I currently do not have a sling but I would like to have one. I would love having my baby close and my hands free.

By Blogger lev53211, at 11/06/2007 6:45 AM

I love the chloe print - and love the fact that my hands can be free for walking the dog with the baby! Ours is due in January, so looking ahead...

With an active 3 year old and an 8 month old - babywearing is a necessity! We took a walk to the park on Saturday and the 3 yr old got tired of walking. It was his turn in the stroller and I wore his brother for the rest of the trek. I also love the closeness and the fact that it comforts my little guy.

The Florence print is beautiful!

jglitter@sbcglobal.net

By Blogger jglitter, at 11/06/2007 7:10 AM

I love the heather print....

my favorite part of babywearing has to be that I can hold my 4 month old without missing anything my 3 year old wants to do. It's the best of both worlds!

Baby wearing is fantastic! I wouldn't have it any other way. The learning opportunities for baby and confidence & contentment the closeness provides are priceless. My daughter loves being involved in whatever I'm doing. Also, I found that this approach provides a way for me to be a more productive and efficient mom, spouse, and housewife. Baby is happy, mom is happy, all is well! Looking forward to baby #2, I have no doubt that a go sling will be a must!

A hard decision, but I think Chloe is my fav - funky and classy all at once.

Both "Florence" and "Dianna" are exquisite, but I'd have to say that "Florence" is my favorite. And since I'm currently expecting my fourth (yikes!), I'd definitely appreciate the "both-hands-free" feature, as I'm able to wrangle the other kids. I also love the higher situation of the baby ... I've had back surgery and chronic back pain and have never found a baby sling that was as comfortable as this one seems ... amazing product! Thanks.

I didn't babywear with my daughter, but with my son due soon and a 1 year old tearing around, it seems to be a no brainer! Plus, I love the idea of having him close to me at all times. I am really looking forward to trying this out! The Paige is adorable!

By Blogger Andi, at 11/06/2007 11:10 AM

My favorite part is probably the combination of handsfree, snuggly, safety, and keeping "prying" hands off my baby!! (j/k - but some people are so nosey!!). I really like Kate the best.

thanks,

It's a toss up between having hands free and having that little peanut head right there to kiss on. No, seriously, it's so handy to have two hands free. My favorite pattern has got to be the Kate.

I love wearing my little guy. He is 13 months old now but he's the size of a 11 month old because he was born 6 weeks early. Having him near me keeps him calm plus he is not in reach of his older brothers and sisters who pester him, plus it keeps him out of stuff.

I love the Kate print!

I Love the Chloe and Florence prints! Baby is due sometime this month and a sling seems to me the most natural way to transition into the fourth trimester.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/06/2007 5:48 PM

I love the Diana print. I have 3 kids who are too old for the sling, but I'd love to give a brand one to my sister who is due in a few months. I think it would be a wonderful way for her to start bonding with her first baby. I didn't discover "attachment" parenting until later in my parenting. I would love to help my sister start off on a good foot.

By Blogger Jess, at 11/06/2007 6:08 PM

My baby days have long been over but when the Snuggli first came out I was one of the first in line to get one. I loved having my hands free and less strain on my back not to mention not having to manuever a stroller through ailes in the stores. No grandkids on the horizon for me, but my kids have friends who are expecting and I'm excited to be an "auntie". this would make such a wonderful gift or better yet, I can hold on to it for when my kids decide to make me a grandmom... please count me in. I think the Heather is a great pattern!!

Attachment parenting helps us build such a wonderful bond of trust. I love "wearing" my little girl-- it's such a warm, close feeling, and so much fun to take walks around town and show her off! She loves to face out and look at the world. It's one of my favorite parts of being a new mom.

My favorite prints are Dianna and Kate.

By Blogger Jenna, at 11/06/2007 10:04 PM

Florence is my favorite print, my friend has a great sling and I loved how it worked for her... I would love to try it out...

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/07/2007 5:24 AM

Attachment parenting helps build a bond of trust and security. Even when I'm busy with tasks and errands, my little girl can feel close and loved because of the ability I have to "wear" her. I love "wearing" her and showing her off. Motherhood is fantastic!

My favorite print is Kate.

By Blogger Amber, at 11/07/2007 7:02 AM

My favorite print is Paige.

Why I like to wear my kiddos? #1. Attachement & bonding. My youngest two were adopted from foster care as drug exposed babies. They need that extra bonding with me. Plus if we get any new babies I'll definitely be wearing them as well! #2. Handsfree! How I wish these had been invented when I had my oldest two (11 & 9). It's soo much easier to do ANYTHING when wearing one of the little ones!

By Blogger Momma chaos, at 11/07/2007 7:58 AM

Florence is so lovely. I have twin boys and because of that, they never really get as many cuddles as they need. I would love to be able to wear them around the house so I can still get things done, and provide them with the mommy-love they crave.

Love the Dianna print. I've been looking for a new sling! Slings are SO handy in helping to make dinner, and ESPECIALLY going in stores that don't have carts, like the fabric store, garage sales, etc. I hope I win it!!

i just bought the puj sling in ginger for my babe. i love it and so does he. it keeps him close and happy and it keeps my hands free. i love the puj because it is so small when not in use. i just tuck it in my bag and have it when i need it. i would love he paige print to gift or to keep as a back-up.

By Blogger Dansie Family, at 11/07/2007 2:21 PM

Like some of the other fabulous moms, wearing my babe felt so right and made life flow. I don't think my husband and I put him down at all the first month. I still use a sling and he is 20 months. We love to walk through the crowded farmers' market with him on one hip and a bag of goodies on the other side to even out the weight. The puj baby sling looks much easier to use and is so stylish:0) I like the paige pattern!

i own a cafe and i carry my 6 month old everyday. she is the youngest cappuccino maker around. she has been coming to work with me 7 days a week and have another sling that i have been trying to replace.

the puj sling looks great. a lot like my shell sling but so much more fashionable.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/07/2007 4:05 PM

What a great sling. I like the Florence; I love orange and blue together. Babywearing is such a huge help instead of lugging around a huge carrier... and baby just loves it!

By Blogger Sarah C., at 11/07/2007 6:43 PM

WOW!!! with my first baby I didn't baby wear becaue it just seemed so uncomfortable to put the baby in the sling and I am a large lady so the straps of the holder were too tight. This is great!!! I love how easie it goes on and the baby looks soo comfy and happy and so does mom. I don't know what color - they are soooo cute- umm...
I would have to say the HEATHER. In a size 5!

By Blogger Unknown, at 11/08/2007 7:07 AM

I especially love it when my baby is asleep right next to me in a baby carrier. I've never seen such lovely fabrics before - I think Florence is the best but any of them would be great.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/08/2007 7:22 AM

My favorite is the Chloe print, very chic and cool. I loved having my daughter close to me when she was young (safe, secure and great for bonding) and hands free was always a plus as well. With the second one soon to be this looks so much more comfortable and practical over the carrier I used with Audrey.

By Blogger Melinda, at 11/08/2007 8:30 AM

The Chloe print is my favorite. I love the orange. I love having my kids close. My son loves to be all around me and see what I am doing. But having my hands free is the extra bonus. I really could have used my hands free when he was born.

By Blogger JC, at 11/08/2007 8:37 AM

The whole idea of having baby close to you and yet still having hands free is perfect. The sling idea has always been high on my list of useful mommy toys. I love the Chloe print and would put the Go sling to great use! May have to buy one or two others as gifts! I know they will be loved!

I like the Kate print. I've been looking into the various wraps out there now that I'm pregnant w/ my second. My first I used a horrible Snuggli about twice and I want something more user-friendly and comfy for this next one. I look forward to using this grocery shopping or going to my other daughter's school events or when I'm hanging w/ our youth group at our church.

By Blogger cnash, at 11/09/2007 5:37 AM

I love the fact that attachment parenting just comes so easily. I don't have to do anything special or read any books or anything like that. I just do what my heart tells me when it comes to my son. I love wearing my child because it is so much easier to get things done throughout the day while using my hands, and to also know that I am able to comfort my son while washing the dishes or something. :) I love the heather print. I have a son and am expecting a daughter, and I love the fact that that print can be used for either.

By Blogger ME, at 11/09/2007 6:11 AM

I love wearing my son - I think it makes both of us feel better in general, and I am easily able to comfort him when he gets upset.

Both the Florence and the Paige prints are lovely. Actually, all the prints are beautiful, but I suppose those two are my favorite.

With my first baby, I had him in a sling all the time and someone at his doctor's office commented that it was so nice to see someone wearing their baby because she sees so many parents carrying their kids around in car seats. Popping out the car seat is convenient, but it's so nice to be able to hold your baby all the time. And with slings you can hold them all the time and have your hands free.

I LOVE slings but I'm very particular about styles and fabrics so sometimes I have trouble finding ones that I like. For baby number two I have been COVETING the Puj sling. My two favorite fabrics are Chloe and Florence. But really, all the fabrics are so pretty and unique. I love them.

What I love about baby-wearing is that I GET TO WEAR MY BABY! We travel domestically + internationally all the time and w/o being to wear her I don't know how we would have done it. I also just love having her next to me. I love her smell, her warmth and as an exclusively breastfed baby/toddler it just makes things that much easier. I've been through so many uncomfortable carriers and slings and am once again in the market for another that we'll both like. I'd love to continue wearing her for as long as I can and PUJ looks like the perfect option! My favorite fabrics are Florence & Kate. Beautiful!

I wear my baby in my wrap at the Mall of America, and people always ask me about it because he is so happy and I have my hands free for shopping. I still use a stroller to hold the diaper bag and purse and the shopping items.
I love sleeping with my baby because he is so much more content and secure, I guess that is my AP part, I'm only partly AP. But I do babywear and co-sleep and breast feed.

I like the Florence design of the sling.

By Blogger Qtpies7, at 11/10/2007 12:09 PM

Paige is pretty.

I didn't even know we were practicing attachment parenting for the first 6 months.

I found out about it one day while on the internet. We didn't understand why at six months she had yet to get sick nor had a diaper rash. Or why she was in the 99 percentile for height /weight and larger than either parent at the same age. Why, now at seven mos., she walks around the house holding our fingers.

Appreantly according to some reports, this early development and low sick rate is due to attachment parenting.

We did it because it feels good. Who knew all the bonuses.

Touch and closeness is so important to babies. I love these baby slings. I most like the security "baby wearing" gives to the child. These slings are beautiful! I like the "Florence" print.

I love carrying my little ones around in a carrier because of the closeness... also I'm ensured that he won't end up with a block or a truck haphazardly landing on his head because of a silly big brother! I think my favorite of the prints is the one you have on your blog here. So colorful and happy! :^D

This would make an AWESOME gift!

By Blogger Nan, at 11/10/2007 9:06 PM

Yea... my baby is now 2 weeks old and I really want one of these. We did not find out what we were having ahead of time so I was waiting until the baby was born and it is a GIRL!!!! She loves to be close to me and I know with this sling I could get a lot done... and keep her happy. Her daddy even wants to wear it when we go for our daily walks with baby girl. I am also breastfeeding so it would be nice for that too. I love that I can do so much but have her with me... it makes us both feel better. :)

I LOOOOOOVE the Kate print for my new baby girl!

Thanks and I hope I win - saving the money will mean I can buy another dress for BG!!!! :)

By Blogger cnydalynn, at 11/11/2007 10:40 AM

I'd love to have one of this!!!
Both me and my son love babywearing! I so love to have him close to me especially now that he's an independant toddler; it's such a great feeling! Plus you don't need to bother with folding and unfolding bulky strollers... and DS loves to be worn since he can see everything better plus there's always mama's eyes to poke, nose to pinch and hair to pull :)

P.S.-Dianna is my favorite!

By Blogger Tanya, at 11/11/2007 11:49 AM

What a gorgeous sling. I've been baby-wearing with my little one since he was 2minutes old...it saved our lives when he was tiny, because he was just one of those babies that did not want to be put down. And there is just no better feeling than being that close to your baby, during all of your "other" important duties, errands, housework, etc.

What I love about attachment parenting is that it is so intuitive -- just by following our own natural instincts, we help this tiny human being develop in the most loving way possible. It just makes natural sense.

I think Dianna is the best print!

By Blogger noreen, at 11/11/2007 6:26 PM

Florence is so pretty. I never want to set my babies down, so this sling would work nicely. (Maybe I'd just wear two at the same time?)

By Blogger abby, at 11/11/2007 7:43 PM

Babywearing allows me to get things done (my baby loves to be held pretty much all the time) and it keeps him close to me. I've also read that wearing my baby helps him learn because he is actively engaged in whatever I'm doing.

We co-sleep and I keep my baby close because I want him to feel secure and I feel that enaging in some of the principles of attachment parenting has secured a strong bond between my baby and I and my husband and our son. It has also brought my husband and I closer together.

The Katie and Paige prints are my favorites.

And babywearing-I think it's the only way I've survived the first 3 months-my son LOVES being worn!

By Blogger Alison, at 11/12/2007 3:50 PM

I love the heather print, I survived some cranky days by wearing my dd. She wouldn't let me get anything done otherwise!

By Blogger The Saunders Family, at 11/13/2007 2:14 PM

Babywearing has been great since we've travelled so much with her since she was just 7 weeks old. Going through the airports and sitting on long cross country and cross-Atlantic flights were so much easier with her snuggled up to me. Now at 1 year old, she still loves to be carried, and I can keep my hands free to still get things done.

AP has worked well for us, as we three walk this path together, trusting our instincts. I love knowing that she will grow up secure and confident, never doubting her importance and worth.

So hard to choose between Kate and Heather, but they're all so beautiful! I'll have to go with Kate though.

Thanks so much for this contest!

Oooh. Like all the prints really and love babywearing. I'd go with Florence - my grandma's name. With my first, it was very calming for her to be close to me in one of our carriers. Stumbled into an AP approach after finding the Dr. Sears books made the most sense to me on an instinctual level. For us, it was just the most natural thing for bonding with our daughter. Thanks for the drawing.

what a great looking site! i'm a big fan of clean/minimalist design. *props* and i like DIANNA

anyway, babywearing is the ONLY way to go! how could a baby be happier. i truly believe in the "4th trimester" principle, that babies NEED almost constant ATTACHMENT to a loving parent/caregiver.

we are "incidental" attachment parents to a 3.5 month old dd. (read the amazing story of the "3 minute baby" at www.21stcenturyparenting.com)

My first child was a very high needs baby. The only way I could get anything done was by slinging her! I love how slings leave both your arms free. I continued to sling her well into her toddler years. She's now 7yo and still very "attached" to me which I love. :)
I'm now expecting my second child and would love to have the puj sling in Paige.

I, too, love the Kate print. I currently use my messenger-bag- style purse to "sling" my toddler to my hip. It's a little awkward, but it sure helps to carry her + use 2 hands. and my girl is always happier to be close to me, instead of on the ground.

1.Baby-wearing: I sling my son everywhere, all the time. I love the way he rests his head on my shoulder. I can tell he feels safe when strangers are approach as well.

2. Our son is a very happy child who smiles easily and cries, but stops his tears quickly. My husband and I believe it's the love and confidence he feels from AP. We've been practicing it from day 1 and didn't even know it until later.

3. I love the KATE.

With 3 kids, I have found myself moving more towards baby wearing with my youngest out of necessity. I also feel I've relaxed more as more children come and not been as into the strict schedule, etc. It's just easier to keep the baby with me so I can tend to the other two and keep baby happy. These are beautiful - love the Amy Butler fabric. I think Dianna is my favorite.

I have two children and have worn them both. It has been a quick alternative to strollers in crowded store and streets. The best part is feeling your little one breathing while they sleep soundly on your shoulder. I would love to give this gift to my sister-in-law now that she has had her first baby. My favorite pattern is "Florence". Thanks for your consideration!

Kate is absolutely my favourite. I just heard that I am pregnant, so a new babysling will come in handy since I have three children already.
They absolutely look gorgeous.

LOVE the Florence print.

I think carrying the baby on your chest not only adds to your bond with the child but helps you keep better connected with what it is needing at the given moment. Plus the baby is more involved in what you are doing and what is going on around you than if it was covered up in a stroller.

Well, my first is due in March, so I haven't tried baby wearing, but I'm eager to, as is expectant dad. I love the idea of having the baby close and comforted and secure at all times.

The prints are all beautiful, but I'm partial to the Heather.

I love the Dianna print. And I'd love to be able to carry my baby in one of these... especially on our long walks to pick up her brother from kindergarten.

I like "Kate"

With twins I am really hampered by a double stroller. You wouldn't beleive how many places aren't wheelchair (and thus aren't stroller) accessible. Baby wearing is all about my mobility for me.

I love the Heather sling. The colors are just beautiful!

I have four children and have never tried using a sling. It looks like a godsend! I think it would make my back feel a lot less painful from lugging children around.

Please enter me in this great giveaway.

love holding my 1 month old daughter... the sling would also allow me to get some work done around the house.

When my son was about 2 months old the lactation nurse suggested baby wearing to help reduce my baby's colic. At the time I didn't realize what great advice it was. baby wearing has not only given me a happier baby but has allowed me the freedom to go anywear w/my son-and it's hands free. But now at 6 months and 19lbs my current sling and baby are taking a toll on my back and shoulder. The design and position of the baby in the Puj looks like it would solve this. The Puj also adds one other important factor to the mix-beauty!
If i had to choose just one the combination of fabrics of the Florence are my favorite. What a great way to make a tired new mom feel pretty again! Jen

I love babywearing!! I have my fifth child now and he is the first I have "worn". What a difference. When he is fussy and fighting sleep, I can sling him on and he is quickly comforted and settles down. I believe attachment parenting is the best route to ensure a close bond with your children. I love the Kate pattern...but really they are all so beautiful. I like this sling wears the baby higher.

I really love the ideas behind attachment parenting. It helps babies grow happy and healthy - and makes family stronger units. :) I'd love to win this for a friend who is practicing this type of parenting with her new baby!

I love being able to calm my baby down while wearing her. She can feel my heartbeat and immediatly she stops crying. I love it! (and I love the Kate print!) breetrott (at) comcast (dot) com

I love wearing my baby, because she can see my world, which is constantly changing-instead of being parked in the static world of a bouncy seat or high chair. She starts cooing as soon as I start carrying her around. It's wonderful to know she's happy, even when I'm racing around cleaning the house! It also means that we communicate a lot more than we would if she were in a seat on the other side of the room.

I think the Florence print is the prettiest.
